Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the private Daviess County Court Docket reference resource. They explain the limits of its court-access information and do not replace the rules, procedures, or records of a Missouri court or clerk.

Private Reference Resource. This website is not operated by Daviess County, the Daviess County Circuit Clerk, the 43rd Judicial Circuit, Missouri Courts, or any other government office. Official court records and settings must be confirmed with the appropriate court or clerk.

1. What This Website Is

Daviess County Court Docket is a privately operated informational resource about public court-docket routes in Daviess County, Missouri. Missouri Case.net, the Circuit Clerk, court divisions, and courthouse terminals are separate official services. This site does not maintain the official docket.

2. Informational Use Only

Material on this site is general reference information. Court-record access is governed by Missouri court rules and applicable law, including public-access provisions in RSMo Chapter 610 access provisions, not by this site. A web result is not an official or certified copy.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use the resource lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with the site, submit malicious material, attempt unauthorized access, or use its content in a way that violates law, court rules, privacy rights, or these terms.

  • Do not misrepresent this site as a government service.
  • Do not rely on a listed setting without confirming it with the court or clerk.
  • Do not attempt to access sealed, confidential, or restricted court material.
  • Do not reproduce protected personal information from a docket or document.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its information and linked tools may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. Court information can be incomplete, outdated, or attached to the wrong person; confirm every record with the originating court or clerk.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice or a substitute for a licensed attorney. Pending cases, filing deadlines, access limits, and the effect of a ruling require advice from a qualified professional or the authorized court process.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Dockets change as filings, settings, orders, continuances, dismissals, and seals are entered. We do not guarantee that site content, linked results, contacts, procedures, or availability are current or complete. The Missouri File Viewer Help explains that a docket entry does not ensure public document access.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External services, including Missouri Case.net, government websites, and search partners, are operated by others. We do not control their contents, availability, charges, terms, or privacy practices.

8. Intellectual Property

Site text, design elements, graphics, and code are protected by applicable law and may not be copied, distributed, altered, or used to create derivative content without permission, except as law permits.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses or damages arising from use of this site, its content, or an external service, including reliance on a court-related result that should have been confirmed with the official custodian.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, costs, and legal fees arising from your use of the site or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. A dispute related to use of this website must be brought in a court located in Missouri when jurisdiction and venue are proper.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may change these terms at any time. Updated terms apply when posted on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you look up a case or docket for me?

No. Use the official Case.net service or contact the court clerk that holds the case.

Can you change or confirm my court date?

No. Only the court can set or confirm a hearing. Verify the setting with the Circuit Clerk or the court division.

Is a linked docket entry official?

Only the court’s own record is authoritative, and an online entry is not automatically a certified copy.

Where can I ask about these terms?

Use the site’s Contact page for website terms, not for an official court request.
